This live in-service webinar provided during our consult is designed to educate Nurses on the topic of Standardized Procedures.  Nurses will learn through a slide deck presentation & detailed discussion relevant to Nursing Practice. There will be an opportunity for live questions during the consultation process. At the conclusion of the (1) ONE hour Continuing Education (CE) program, Nurses will be able to:

• Define Standardized Procedures & how it relates to patient safety
• Review & discuss Board requirements for Standardized Procedures
• Understand how Standardized Procedures decrease implicit bias by promoting equitable care to patients
• Understand the proper development & implementation of Standardized Procedures   
• Discuss the difference between Nursing Policy, Procedure & Protocol
• Identify how Standardized Procedures function within Policies & Procedures
• Gain a better understanding of the different scopes of practice between Nursing, Medical & Physician Assistant 
• Identify possible outcomes & licensing implications related to inadequate Standardized Procedures  

“Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #18009, for 1 (one) Contact Hour.” 
Certificate of Completion shall be provided within 1-5 business days after submission of the completed evaluation form by the Nurse.  The Certificate of Completion will be emailed to the participant’s email address.
